Turning Complexity into Clarity
Human-Centered Research & Strategy Solutions
Do your services truly reflect the needs and realities of the people you serve?
I help organisations—particularly in public and high-impact service sectors—bridge the gap between policy, service design, and real-life user experience. Through deep, human-centred research, I uncover hidden needs, behaviours and barriers, translating them into clear, strategic insights. Case Studies

1. Scaling User Research Operations in a Health CrisisDepartment of Health and Social Care & UK Health Security Agency · Government / Public Health
During the UK’s emergency pandemic response, I led research operations and co-design efforts across public health teams tackling infectious diseases and climate challenges. At DHSC, I scaled Test & Trace user research from 15 to 50 people, building systems that enabled inclusive, rapid insights. At UKHSA, I facilitated prioritisation workshops, led discovery sprints, and optimised research journeys to support service delivery in a fully remote, high-pressure environment.

2. Strategic UX/UR for Service & Brand DevelopmentCrowd DNA · Financial Services & FMCG
I led user research for two high-impact projects at Crowd DNA. First, I defined a new digital employee benefits service for a global financial provider—mapping frontline staff journeys, identifying key needs and barriers, and proposing strategic design solutions. I also delivered a communications and brand testing study for a global FMCG brand, conducting interviews and focus groups across the Nordic market to evaluate a new campaign. In both projects, I combined deep user insight with strategic thinking to inform service and brand direction.

3. Research Leadership in a Public Sector TransitionSocial Security Scotland · Scottish Government
I held dual roles as Lead Research Operations Specialist and Lead User Researcher within the Social Security Directorate, supporting a major transition project.
As Lead ReOps Specialist, I streamlined workflows, expanded inclusive recruitment practices, and managed cross-government surveys to strengthen research delivery across benefit services. Later, as Lead User Researcher for the Pension Age Disability Payment programme, I ran multi-method research sprints to uncover communication gaps between GPs, professionals, and case managers—helping shape policy-aligned service improvements.
